New Malware

I heard somewhere that theres a new kind of malware that stores it self in really modern video cards and such.Anyone else know anything?

What? Um...unless I'm totally missing something, video cards don't have any long term storage besides the BIOS. And if they were to alter that, then the card wouldn't work anymore.
