The moniter im looking at has the following specs
Size: 19 inch
Response Time: 2ms
Contrast Ratio: 650:1
Brightness: 270 cd/m2
Maximum Resolution: 1280x1024
Recommended Resolution: 1280x1024

I mainly use this computer for gaming. I feel confident about the 2ms responce time, as you might have guessed, I'm not sure whats good or bad for Brightness, so more info on that owould be nice, is 270 a good brightness?

The only thing that I have any doubts about is the 1:650 contrast ratio, I wanted to get at least 1:800, but I am on a tight budget, and the moniter I found was a nice price. Has anyone used a 1:650 moniter or less? How does it look? it it alright?

Basicly i need to know about the Brightness, and opinoins on the Contrast Ratio. I wanted to get a moniter with a hihger resalution, but as i said im on a bugjet so I decided 1280x1024 will have to do.


I might be able to get slightly better then that with the money i am spending but this comes with a 3 year warrenty so I do like it. I would aprerchate it i was not recomended other moniters since I know i have a better deal already, since I have some discounts to a already fairly decently priced place.

Yes, its that moniter but its hte -4b verion/ which is mainly differences in cosmentic looks but it says the light has a longer lifespan and a few other slight varois things.(Basicily its the same model, but the "better version of it" its like a car where you can get a reglar model car, then you can get a slightly ebetter version, which is ussaly just cosmentics, or extra fetures, like for this moniter for example it has a better stand which has varible hight and tilt and such, and it comes with a tuner card)

Does anyone have an anwser to the contrast or brightness?
