New Monitor for 1080p gaming.

Hi guys,
I am planing an upgrade of my monitor.I mainly play games, browse and watch movies on it.
The two monitors i have chosen are
Asus ve278q and Dell u2412m
My budget is arround the price of these two monitors(i cant exactly tell cuz i live in bulgaria and here everything is overpriced)
Which one would you recommend and why?

I would recommend a Led display with VGA and Hdmi with resolutions over 1920x1080 if the output of your card suports that
 
Get the Samsung if you're going to play games. The Dell has a slow 8ms response time.

I would also recommend getting a 24" instead of a 27". 1080 at that size has really big pixels.
 
Another question I have is if the 27 inch monitor will affect my performance in games(I play fps and mobas)because I will have to turn my head too much to see the edges.I am playing at arround 1m distance.
