Ok so I got a new monitor (LG Flatron M237WD 23" 1080HD monitor with TV tuner) a couple weeks ago and Ive noticed it's giving off strange colors in photoshop (and only photoshop)
Allow me to elaborate:
When I select the whitest shade of white (if that makes any sense
) It looks almost like a eggshell white (yellowish tint) on my new monitor, but it looks like the correct shade of white on my old monitor (Sharp 19" flat panel, non-wide screen)
Also, on my older monitor I was working on my business card and I had a dark shade of blue, I switched it over to the new LG monitor and it was a dark purple...
But it only seems to be in photoshop because when I put say this forum on my new monitor, it's pure white, in fact it's an almost opposite effect, the forums on my old monitor have the yellowish tint (or just not as bright of white) as the LG which puts off the "pure" white on my new monitor.
I hope I got my point across enough for you guys to help me with this issue, and if not please let me know and i'll take another try lol
Thanks in advanced!
