New Monitor.. Need or Not?

Currently, I have this monitor to go with my new system listed in my Sig,:

HP2009M

Where I work at, I have the option of getting this monitor:

Lg D2342ppn

I mainly play WOW, but wonder if this is a nice upgrade for $200.00 price.

I dont see me using the 3d option much.

Worth it?

Basically there are no standards and manufacturers can make stuff up. Ever seen the energy star rating? How do devices that have higher power usage get more stars than one that uses less energy? Basically, don't believe everything at first glance.
