I've just got a new 19" flat screen monitor (yes for christmas
) and there seems to be a bit of a problem with it. When I am viewing something with a black or dark background there seems to be what I can only describe as smudges on the screen. It kind of looks like the kids have wiped there greasy hands on it.
Now there's not just one or two of these there are two lines which stretch from top to bottom more or less and scattered around them thereare 40-50 little marks which again looks like someone has touched the screen with their greasy fingertip.
I'm am guessing that it is a faulty monitor and I'm ready to send it back for a replacement. I just thought that I'd ask around for some advice first and see if it is a common problem and can it be fixed.
Hope someone can help me determine what the problem is.
