New Monitor Recommendations

I have been looking to get a new monitor after giving mine away to my grandparents. Presently I am using a westinghouse 24" LED TV and it just doesn't seem to have the same crispness and clarity.

previously I had an asus monitor. I didn't link it to amazon but they have it for $170 plus a $20 rebate.

I really liked this monitor and it looked great with the games I played. Can I do much better for $200? I have a 7850 but plan on upgrading my video card shortly. Not sure if I will have to upgrade my resolution on the monitor or anything to get the most out of a new card.

An help is appreciated. Have been reading up on what I can but still am not sure about monitors compared to the pc hardware.

It sounds like i can only go up in size without great expense. Will stick with what i got before. Thanks for the contributions.

The difference in price between a 24 and 27" 1080p display isn't much, but it's the same resolution, so you aren't going to get more screen real estate per say, things will just be bigger. Great for movies though

Yeah things won't look a whole lot bigger though so if you can get the 27" go for it but if not then 24" is quite a nice size.
