New Monitor Time

So i got all this brandnew stuff and i just cannot wait till the end of summer when i go back to school. So i decided to buy a new monitor, but dang theres alot of random brands. Ive been looking for a widescreen, pref above 19, and around 200. I have windows vista and dx10.

Brands to look at- Samsung, Hanns-G (i have the HW191, 19in widescreen and it is awesome- also only cost 180 dollars), Viewsonic to name a few.

Acer monitors have glossy screens, meaning they'll glare badly. Keep that in mind before purchasing one..

I don't think it's "just" Acer... It's probably their glossy coating. Most companies(at least laptops) are beginning to offer that as an option.

I just purchased the ACER AL1916W 19", i couldnt be more impressed great product, no "glossy" screen either just like normal LCD type. So take a look at ACER, although skeptical at first im happy i did.
