New monitor

Hi, I am thinking of getting a new monitor and since I'm clueless when it comes to monitors I'd appreciate if you guys could help me out.

I am gonna be getting a monitor from microcenter and I am thinking of getting one of those 2.

Which one do you think is better ? Currently I'm leaning towards the viewsonic one.

Depends on if you want an HDMI interface on it. If you don't use HDMI then go for the top one (cheaper one) they're basically the same; only different is the one on the top is .5 inches bigger and cheaper. Also, you should check Newegg.com They also have great prices on their monitors (especially if there's a sale going on). I bought my 22" for $140 off Newegg Of course, that was with the 24-hour sale.

The viewsonic one is 200 on newegg and 182 at microcenter so I'm just gonna get it there. Plus I won't have to wait and if there are dead pixels or something else is wrong i can just drive there instead of shipping it back and going thru hassle of rma'ing

realise that the both of them are 21.5" viewable, so the screen size is the same. get the bottom one, the cheaper one. it comes with an hdmi input and it has the same resolution as the top one
