I recently gave away my monitor to a family member (forgot the name of the monitor). It was a 19'' LCD monitor that had a resolution of 1440x900. It was from around 2007. It was perfect. But now I'm running on my 55 inch TV and it's just not practical. My eyes hurt. I'm seeing 20"+ TN and IPS panels around $100 or cheaper. I'm seeing a ton of Asus, Acer, Samsung, and Planar brands on Newegg. I'm assuming these brands are all pretty much the same nowadays? I heard it may be better to purchase monitors from Amazon because of the superior return policy (dead pixels being the main issue). Is this true?
