New Monitor

My monitor broke just recently (the power button stopped working, so it wont turn off) and i'd like a new one. I'd like it to be at least 1280x1024 resolution and at least 17". Budget - as cheap as possible (without getting some piece of junk), preferably under $150- or $200
any suggestions?
also i'd like it if i could buy it in a store rather than have to wait for it to be mailed. (yes im that desperate)
btw im using it mostly for gaming (I don't know if that really matters with a monitor tho)

Basically, just go to whichever store you want and look at the specs. Don't get anything over an 8ms response tine since it shouldn't be that high in a smaller monitor. 800:1 or better contrast ratio and you should be cool
