New motherboard and CPU?

It has been awhile since I have posted anything in this forum, my question is if I replace my motherboard and processor in my computer will I have to reprogram anything or will I just have to reconnect my hd and everything will be o.k...any help is appreciated thanks

Unless the parts you're replacing are identical to the ones that are currently in the system, you'll have to reinstall Windows.

You would have to have a Windows CD, place it in the disk drive and boot from disk. Then go through the on screen steps.

Yes it would be. You would have to back up your data.

you can also try windows repair which might repair your windows and save you from fresh install (though just advice not recommended) though i've no idea of data safety on this one.
