New Motherboard and No Monitor singal

Hello i purchased a new motherboard a new processor new ram and a new graphics card. Well i got all the stuff powerd up and working but i have a small problem. My monitor plugs into the graphics card because well thats the only port for it. Now when i turn on the PC everything starts to run but i am getting no response from my Monitor of turning on. I checked to make sure that my monitor was plugged in and connected correctly and it is. Could someone please tell me why my monitor is not recieving the single from the PC???? Thankyou very much for your responses for i want to get my new PC up and running asap!

Singal sorry for the misspelling and on my monitor it has a message monitor is working check signal cables. Where are these singal cables anyways please someone help me out with this.
 
the signal cable is the one you plug into your video card. Check the max resolution the monitor can handle, you may be exceeding it, the cable may be loose or your video card might not be working properly
 
and i dont think im exceeding the max resolution because nothing is popping up on the screen except blackness and this little monitor message thats red green and blue stating this stuff
 
it could be exceeding the max refresh rate, but exceednig the monitors limits in anyway will make it pop up with that message
 
when exactly does it give the message? If you can see stuff when windows is booting then boot into safe mode (press F8 just before the windows screen comes up) If it says that to start with, it's not connected to anything sending a signal (your video card isn't worknig right)
 
ok yea its right in the very start so my video card isnt working right but why isnt my video card isnt working right my theory is that its not plugged into something but the fan on my video card is going strong so i know its got power flowing to it.
 
cromewell if you have AIM could you please give me your SN so i can talk to your in a faster and more effecient way about my problem
 
Sorry, I don't have AIM. If you're sure that you've got the monitor connected properly try another video card (if you have one around). what exactly are yuor system specs?

Arent all monitors supposed to support VGA?

Ok reading your problem im slightly confused: can you see anything other than this warning on the monitor, ever?
