New Network Project - Shielded Jacks & Cable

I just got a proposal from a company to cable my new office. He is recommending me to use shielded jacks and cable. I googled one of the parts on the proposal and here it is: http://www.cablegiant.com/Default.aspx?p_id=4&Product_id=93

Can anyone tell me the purpose of shielded cable and jacks and why you would think this company is purposing these parts. I have another quote and they are not recommending shielded parts. Any help out there to help me make the right decision.

They use shielding to prevent damage/electronic noise disrupting it.
They probably want to run wire to some place that has a lot of electronic noise,
or just to be safe. Not too sure, you'd have to run it by them.
