i just downloaded the new nvidia forceware driver and i was wondering if new drivers could increase card performance and allow me to overclock higher.

i just downloaded the new nvidia forceware driver and i was wondering if new drivers could increase card performance and allow me to overclock higher.

if your previous drivers were old enough or had problems then yes it should help out. but if you were just updating for the sake of updating (meaning old drivers worked fine) then i dont think it will give you a significant boost in overclocking. maybe a small one perhaps...couple MHz maybe.

Not really .. the newer forcewares are tailored for nV4x so your NV3x wont benifit all that much from it
