I agree, I'll probably just drop down to NY state or Montana if I'm back home soon and just buy there. I agree that we are gonna get Shellackkefied! (yes, thats a made up word!)

well i currently run a 1 gig GTX 560 Ti, which isn't bad. But, i will not be buying any new cards this year, so 2 of the 1080's is just me dreaming

1 of the 1080 will be like 3-4 of the 560ti.. maybe not quite.. but it'll be an astronomical difference and I think 1 will be more than sufficient more most of us.

Yea and you forget that your 6600k only has 16 pci-e lanes. Granted running cards at 16x vs 8x isn't extremely noticeable, but it might on the 1080. You never know.

Going from a 560 Ti to a 1070/1080 i think would be night and day. kinda like when i upgrade from my 5550 to the 560 ti.

The only reason i would ever go Sli is for bragging rights. that is it.

Honestly, nobody gives a crap about bragging rights.. It's like these 12 year old kids that join and chirp about this or that trying to brag and/or impress adults.. been there, done that. I'm at an age and stage where I can go buy whatever I want and could care less to brag..at the end of the day - nobody really cares and if they do..how sad and small is your life.

That being said, when you get the dual 1080's I wanna see dem benchmarks man!!!!!!!!!!!!!
