New parts, around summer.

Looking at the rig in the sig.
By summer, i can get a couple thousand dollars.
Now.
What semi new stuff will be out by summer months.

Should i upgrade stuff, or build an entirely new pc.

I don't see any reason for a whole new system, seeing as yours is pretty new. A few more gigs of RAM, an E6600, and a 8800GTX should pretty much max you out.
 
Don't get a new computer, not worth the money. Upgrade to 2 gigs of ram, get a new CPU cooler and OC the 6300, then get a new graphics card.
 
Sounds like a cheap plan.

What about .... a new mobo and card to SLI?

nah, dont go SLI, it's not really worth the money. I can't really say what card to get, as the summer is still a long time away. If you're upgrading right now, i'd say the 8800GTS.

just go SLI of the best card out then, best sli board then, and 3 gb of ram

I wouldn't water cool, I really dont think its worth it unless your really bothered by the noise and love to overclock.

SLI the best card out at the time is completely pointless. The best card out at the time can obviously play any game at MAX settings. So therefor by getting SLI you are just adding useless power.

And 3GB RAM, ok but still not exactly needed. Unless you are doing some really RAM intensive programs.

I would wait until you actually have the $$ before you start planning anything out. Things might be different then.
 
yeah maybe sli the 8800gts by then when they will probably be like around 300 bucks and still run every game out there. great point

but i still wanna know how you are going to get a couple thousand by summer?

I started in .... November 06 and from then to now, ive earned a bit more then $800. Though, spent on computer parts, and ipod, ext.
