New Pc Exclusive FPS

Read that a demo has been confirmed to be released prior to its release in September. We're over halfway through august, so unless it's a late September release the demo should be out soon ^_^
 
Just started downloading, should be done in about 2 mins, if that :D

Sucks that I have to be up early though so no playing tonight, but I am going to destroy this game tomorrow evening :D

Got to 28% in the time it took to type this :P

Man your internet is fast, took me like 45mins.
 
Tried the demo.

The game looks amazing, I havn't seen original and good graphics like that on a pc game in a long time. Reminded me of how good Doom3 graphics are. Yet apparently its DX9. I had smooth FPS the entire time with everything maxed.

However, the gameplay and storytelling (while original and unique) didn't really do much for me. Storybook style cutscene didn't match with the run and spam bullets at everything gameplay. And of the gameplay, its short. Demo was maybe 20 minutes with 3 types of enemies and 2 guns (yes yes, you could buy more, shh). Leading me to believe the actual game doesn't have much more uniqueness or length to it.

I'm just saying, the HL2 demo was a good 2 hours long, and you saw 10 different enemies with 7 different guns and there was more to come in the actual game!

I digress, for being a pc exclusive, I'll probably get it...after I read some full reviews.
 
Meh...is all I can really say. The graphics are fine. That's the best compliment I can give it. I honestly couldn't get through the whole demo, it was that uninteresting. It's just so average. There is nothing special about it.
