Hi! I hope I'm using the correct area but I had a question about a computer I was looking into buying and wanted help from some experts.

CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme 1339 Desktop PC Intel Core i5 3450(3.10GHz) 8GB DDR3 1TB HDD Capacity AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB PCI-e Graphics Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

I'm mainly going to be using it for gaming casually. A game like Diablo III on max settings is what I want to use it for. Is this a sufficient CPU? Biggest concern is the graphics card. I've done research but couldn't find the answer I needed. I have 2x4GB sticks extra so I could bring up to 16GB.

Please give me some advise!! I really like this machine but if someone can find a similar or better model for about $850 I would be very grateful. Thanks! :good:

You can do MUCCHHH better if you build it yourself. That's a decent system but you'll get higher quality and more upgradeable parts for the same price and better performance. My rig that I built last September cost about that much and it's definitely more powerful and would cost even less now to make.

If you can follow instruction on building a small lego set, you can build a computer. It's easy, cheaper, and a lot of fun.

@ lollipop: That looks like a decent rig but I'm still uncertain as to the processor in it. I've always heard that i5 was better than the AMD. I'll do some research on it though.

@ denther: My buddy did that with his current cpu. Bought each part and put it together himself. The only problem he ran into was the software part to it. I'm not very tech savvy so I'm looking for a pre-built one.

Thanks for the help guys! If anyone has an idea for a cheaper/better buy then please help me out :D

LEGO SET.Build one!It is easy!My 10 year old nephew built one, I am sure any one can if they try.I did.Software is NOT a problem usally.I am using many used parts, no trouble.Only problem with software is if he is ising something that uses bad drivers, like amd usally does when they first realease their cards, so just get stuff you know has good drivers, or we will recccomend you.

The only software (other than possible bloatware) the prebuilt will have, is the os if you order it. Windows isn't hard to install and either way you will need to install your other programs.

I was trying to instal some ram to upgrade the one I have now but it's a slim line HP so I wasn't able to get to the ram (tucked beneath the CD/DVD reader and I couldn't for the life of me get it out). While I was doing it I took most of it apart and man was it fun! haha :D

I think i'm going to try to build my own. Probably going to need your help though. The parts should be easy to find but the BIOS setting and whatnot is what will slow me down.

I'll keep doing research and then try to post the completed rig up. The AMD 4100 processor ships for about $108. Will that be able to accomplish my goals for my new PC? Thanks again!

Just give us a budget and we can whip up a parts list for you.

And good choice with building it. You'll thank us later. Software when building consists of Windows 7, after that it's just installing your programs. Windows should install your drivers for you.
