So I plan on building my first PC, or possibly buying a new laptop (sticking with the desktop for the sake of this post). I am in college and have an old gateway M-6864FX and do a ton of low end gaming on it. I also use it for CAD and other things for school, but it is beginning to be a pain between all the crashing and just overall poor performance. It is a shame because I remember back when I was 14 saving up the 900$ to fork out for a nice new PC, but it is past its prime. Anyways, I would like to fix up this old desktop my dad gave me with around 350$. That pretty much means all I will need is a CPU/APU, new ram, an HDD/SSD, and a mobo (possibly a gfx card if going with a CPU). I will be running CAD very intensely, and most likely some battlefield 3/4, ESO, Max Payne 3, Far Cry 3, AC4, etc. Would like Med. settings at 1600x900 with a good 30fps. Here is what I had in mind... Suggestions?
