New PC - How is this gonna tackle new games?

Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHZ oc'd to 3.2GHz

5 gb ram.

GTX 460 1gb

650 Watt Psu

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Is the graphic card bottlenecking the cpu?
And should I get a 6850 1gb instid of a gtx 460.

That computer would destroy GTA SA. Seems like a solid system. Should handle pretty much all games out right now on Max or almost Max settings.

Do you think ill get more then 140 fps on sa?

Probably but not sure. Why? You're not really going to notice a whole lot of difference once you hit about 40-60 fps.

Ok just wanted to make sure. The Q6600 should not bottleneck the GTX 460 at all.

I would think that it should be able to handle high at respectible fps (40+) just fine. It is kind of a resource hog. Even still, Your rig has a decent amount of horsepower. What resolution are you gaming at?

Well my max resolution is 1600x900 but I go for frame rate not looks

well yeah at 640x480 with everything on low you will have no problem playing the game. Neither would my laptop.

What brand is your power supply?

I'm not playing at 640x680 that's hideous. And Antec is the brand.
