Darren Moderator Staff member Oct 3, 2011 #5 Probably but not sure. Why? You're not really going to notice a whole lot of difference once you hit about 40-60 fps.

salvage-this Active Member Oct 3, 2011 #7 Are you building from scratch? Or are you upgrading a current system?
salvage-this Active Member Oct 3, 2011 #9 Ok just wanted to make sure. The Q6600 should not bottleneck the GTX 460 at all.
Julian New Member Oct 3, 2011 #10 Alright thanks. How should this pc tackle gta iv at medium settings?
salvage-this Active Member Oct 3, 2011 #11 I would think that it should be able to handle high at respectible fps (40+) just fine. It is kind of a resource hog. Even still, Your rig has a decent amount of horsepower. What resolution are you gaming at? EDIT: take a look at this video. That might help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBNPOKBjAVQ
