how will this computer run? will it show good results with games like GTA 4 and Fallout 3 at FULL HD resolution and high graphic settings? Is the power supply strong enough for this set?

Very good machine,It will handle pretty much all games out there right now and still get decent framerates on high settings.

Nice choice on the case! I have one too,Modded though. :P

That is a nice PC I wish I had one like that but hey mine was really cheap and still runs like a dream.

Good choice on PC though

They're both quad cores and all, the only major difference is the i7 has Hyper-Threading. HT won't give you any performance increase in games because they aren't multi-threaded.

You'l be perfect with i5.

not trying to hijack the thread but one more question! If the i5 is just as good for games what about upgradability?

um, games are multi threaded. almost all newer games are

Yeah but not many games actually use the 4 cores :)

When I fire up the Dirt 2 Demo - I get all 4 cores registering betweeen 25 - 50 % usage when my truck starts rolling around from a crash.

I'm guessing many of the new games that come out will use 4 cores.

Game's will take use of a quad-core if that's what you mean? I'm talking about Hyper-Threading now, where you will have 4 processing cores and another 4 virtual cores. Multi-threaded programs take full use of the 8 cores to process on, while in benchmarks it has been proven the have HT can in some case actually lower your frame-rate.

Back to the original topic hehe, Is the seasonic 550W a good PSU and even beyond for this kind of computer machine? A friend says 550W isnt enough.

by the way, how will this run the latest games out in the market?
ty for the replies :)
