Nice specs! Personally, I would go with an AMD 64 set up instead though. I like AMD better for 3 reasons.

1. You can overclock them
2. Tend to be cheaper (in most cases)
3. 64-bit compared to Intel's 32-bit

actually i plan to get an amd too but i change it because of the MB
cause it used intel 925EX chipset!
so how is it?
The chipset is nice, it runs with an 800MHz FSB and it's the fastest Intel-compatible MOBO out there (I think)

1. WD makes a 74GB drive
2. you mean 8MB?

Graphic adapter: Asus ATI Radeon Plantium Ax800Xt /TVD
Too much money on an already overcharged product

You can overclock them
You can OC the piss out of Intel chips too -- with much more significant OCs

Tend to be cheaper (in most cases)
Only if the AMD part is a Socket754 chip and even then its a close race.

So?

It runs 1066MHz with that processor ... for a net increase of 0.6% in performance over the existing P4EE-3.4Ghz

so any suggestions to replace the overcharged 'graphic adapter'
and it fixed the MB

6600GT/6800GT - best?
5900XT/9800XT - average?
5700U/9600XT - lower end?

that's about what i view them as...the "average" is becoming more and more obsolete...but with overclocking they will still run Doom3 and the like.

I think for now the 6600s are PCIx only? Dunno havnt checked. To be honest, if you look at it from a price perspective we have (in increasing price brackets):

A: 9600, 9600Pro, 5500XT, 5600, 5600Ultra, 5700LE
B: 5700, 5700Ultra, 6600, X600
C: 5900series, 6600GT, X600XT
D: 9800, 9800Pro
E: 6800, X700, X700XT
F: 6800GT, X800Pro
G: 6800U, X800XT
H: X800XT-PE

all those adapter you suggested are Raedeon?
Only the 9xxxx ones are.

and which manufacture they come from
It doesnt matter (in general)
