new pci-ex. video card under 200$

I need help I'm trying to find out wut is the best video card i cud get for under 200$ rite now...its for gaming until the new dx10 compatible ones come out....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Well he's getting a dx10 compatible card when it comes out. So this card should serve him well until then.

The 7900GS is a much better card than the X1800XT.

personally id look for a card in the x1800 or x1900 range...

the comparison is this:
x1900gt/x1900xt
12 pixel pipelines/16 pixel pipelines
36 vertex shaders/48 vertex shaders
then, the clocks are different as well...
personally, id go for the x1900xt, it looks like the best performance per dollar ratio...

I would shoot for a 7900GT. I was able to get a new BFG 7900 GT OC 256MB off of Ebay with a little patience and deligence for $220.00
