So it really is a Pentium based offa the NetBurst architecture?
Or is it a C2D E2160?
Mine said Pentium E2140... hopefully it isn't a NetBurst...
I thought they were Allendales: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...2+50001157+40000343+1050729314&name=Dual-Core
But the OP's screenshot says Conroe.
Which is it?
It's an Allendale core, if you want to be specific. No difference between the conroe though, except in that it has less L cache.
So when I order the E2160 from Newegg I won't be getting a Netburst, right?
No. Netburst has been dropped, it's no longer currently manufactured by Intel. And AMD switched over to "Brainiac" CPU's long ago. It's a established standard, though, and we might end up coming back to it in the future, with more emphasis on parallelism.
