Almost a 100 % overclock, only a few MHz away.

1.6 VCore Temps were around 35 - 42 C running super pi.

What are other people getting their pentiums too?

Yeh its a core 2 with less cache and 800 MHz FSB, its also cheap as chips

It's an Allendale core, if you want to be specific. No difference between the conroe though, except in that it has less L cache.

No. Netburst has been dropped, it's no longer currently manufactured by Intel. And AMD switched over to "Brainiac" CPU's long ago. It's a established standard, though, and we might end up coming back to it in the future, with more emphasis on parallelism.
