New problem with new MOBO

Well since i've pretty much solved my soundcard problem, I'll try to tackle this one too. Since I've installed this asus mobo out of an HP computer my geforce fx5200 hasnt been working right. For some reason when windows detects it, it installs the Intel extreme graphics drivers. My system detects that the card is installed since my monitor is hooked to it and whatnot, but beyond that its not really working right. When i put the driver cd in that i originally got with the card, it says that the vga adapter i have is not a XFX product. I tried disabling the on-board video in the bios since that helped with my sound problem, but its not quite the same. The bios will only let me pick the primary video controller (ie. pci, or onboard). I don't really know where to go from here.

try removing the fx5200 and loading windows, then uninstall the intel drivers, turn of the computer put the fx5200 in and turn the computer on, disable the onboard in bios and see if it boots with the fx5200?

I tried basically the same thing you are suggesting. In the bios i cannot disable the onboard video though, only select if i want to use pci or onboard.
