i am currnetly looking to buy a new processor and mother board and i need some help.

I am looking for a dual cpu motherboard with prefreably amd processor's. Can someone please help me on finding a decent one.

Thnx

well my budget is around £300 so dats somewere around $550-$600 and ye as thingy pointed out i want dual cpu and preflaby amd processors

for gaming you might just want to go dual core, it will cost alot less for the mobo
then, spend the extra money on a high-end graphics card like my 7800gt :)

ye but i just wanna be able to say I HAVE TWO PROCESSORS IN MY PC :D

How cool will that be especialy when i go to college next year as i am taking computing i can be like "omg these comps only have one processor, how crap"

That's stupid.

The only reason I would go dual CPU is if I was getting two dual core CPU's.

Other than that, you are wasting your money.

that wont impress anyone, especially anyway who knows anything about comps

and in that budget its not going to happen.

There are better ways to spend the £300, but you want get a dual cpu rig with it

u did know i said dual cpu not core
he heard you, and ultimately dual core = dual CPU just on the same chip. you'll get a better motherboard for a better price with dual core. just get dual core it's almost the same thing.
plus for gaming you'll be better off spending that extra money on a good video card... say 6800gs?
EDIT: btw if you get dual CPU, anyone you try to show it off to that knows anything about computers/processors will laugh at you for wasting your money, that is unless you get dual core dual cpu's, but that's outside your budget :)
