hi guys.i want to build a new computer,i would like to use a gigabyte or asus motherboard.i will be using the computer for every day things.i will be playing games,browsing the net,multimedia,burning etc.i also want it to have windows 7.as i say i want it to be a good computer but not the best out there dont want to be spending megabucks,my budget is 3-400 pound.i do want to experience games to a good standard tho and i want the performance to be quite good to.thnx,i am new to the building side of things and i need as much help as poss,so ure info will be much appreciated.thnx guys
 
hi there thnx for reply,um im into these football games example fifa football manager,maybe shooting games and racing.
 
i have a monitor,keyboard,mouse,i have a q-tec 550w powersuppy to,have old drives but intend to change them for new ones,.would like a decent size harddrive,cd/dvd rw.etc.thnx
 
yes mate for nw 400 yeh,i may be able to go a little higher,but not at the moment.thnx bud much appreciated
 
This is what i could do for your budget,Things are expensive these days!

If i knocked back on anything now it just wouldnt perform very well in games,I suggest saving up just that little bit more. ;)

Thats the cheapest i could keep it and it still been decent,In the future you could get another 2gb of ram which will up it to 4gb.
 
i could probs save on a few things i.e i dont think i would need a 1tb hardrive tbh.this is a gr8 package tho for the price,u came up with it so quick to
 
No problem,a bit hard with that budget but i think it would be good for the price.

as for the 1TB drive,I choose that because i doesnt cost that much more that the smaller drives on Ebuyer and that one i choose has 32mb cache vs 16mb that most are on Ebuyer :)
