ATM I have a 420 PS that came with my case. I want to up to this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182017 and was wondering do i have to watch for anything special like with video cards and only AGP working with an AGP mobo, like a certain PS that only works with a certain mobo and video card(s)? Like the number of things to plug it into and such..

I am no where very smart with computers.. I almost bought a PCI card for my AGP mobo.. but i figured that out.. :D

looks pretty nice. Since it has a 20+4 motherboard connector, it will work with almost all motherboards. From the pic it looks like theres pci-e connectors so it will work with all graphics card.
 
They should. You should look into the ultra x-connect or x-finity psu. They can be found relatively cheap at frys. I bought my x-connect for about $35 after mail in rebate and it works great.

You only have to worry if there are enough molex connectors but that only becomes a problem if you have half a dozen HDDs and half a dozen other thngs needing molex connects

CHeaper yes but also nowhere near as good nor futureproof. X-Connects are ATX1.03 PSUs while these are 2.01 :)
