new psu causes blinking amber light

I am trying to install a Rosewill RP500-2 PSU in my Dell GX520. I have connected all power cables but when I turn on the computer it has a blinking amber light. Can anybody help me figure this out?

Make sure that the 4-pin connector is plugged in correctly. That plug is something that is greatly overlooked. Make sure the voltage in the back is correct, and make sure the motherboards standoffs are in the right place (look in the motherboard instructions to see if you're standoffs are in the right place).
 
And make sure the front panel connections are SECURELY fastened. The power switch pins could be loose, or something...
