New Psu for a Dell

I know what your thinking not this crap again sorry!:o I just have to get it done as everyone probably knows its a 240w standard PSU im looking for any Psu that will fit a dimension 4600 and around 350W not sure on the graphics card either something around £300. Thanks - s_m_w_d -
 
I got measurments for my PSU it has:

length of 14cm 5 and a half inch's
height of 9cm 3 and a half inch's
width of 15cm 6 inches

its hard to find the right one!

weight.. i think you mean width.... i thnk the tray that the PSU slides into in teh back of teh case is universal:D
 
that'll do just fine...:D make sure it's the right weight lol just messing with you.:D

WAIT. Dell use a propietary connector with ATX look BUT different wiring. If you plug a normal PSU into your dell it will fry the MB. Get a Silencer 370 Dell (iirc) from PC Power and Cooling.

I cant find it anywhere anyway I think I saw it before and it dont think it is compatiable!
 
muahahaahah i hate dell lol j/k just that i dodnt know abou the propiatery thing and ASSUMED they we're all the same..

i bought a rosewill psu for my dell and it worked like a charm.

propietary connector thats when a manufacture uses unique parts! right?
I read an artical and it basically said if I want to change the psu id have to change the motherboard to!
