New PSU just for a vid card?

Hey guys, I'm going to be getting this card: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2714981

And it says that it needs a 400W PSU (for SLI)... I have a Pavilion a1319h, and I'm pretty sure it's a 300W supply. I have nothing that's not-stock on it (no upgrades yet)... Do you think it's really going to matter? Should I dish out a couple bucks and get a new one anyway?

Unless you're going SLI, i think your PSU should be fine, as long as you dont do any other major upgrades.

I would get another one "Well i did actualy" on my system which is a Hp Pavilion.

I wouldnt trust that stock Psu that was in you Hp to power a new Gfx card.

Whadda ya think? Pretty cheap, looks good... Unless you know of a better one in the same price range... (Or if this isn't compatible, but I'm pretty sure it is?)

EDIT: It says it needs an ATX mother board, is the Raedon Xpress 200 compatible?

never heard of that Psu and i think 600 W it a bit of an overkill.

I was just looking at the +12 to amp thing, it's at 22A for +12 and the card says 24A is recommended, almost all of the other ones are around 16-18A

For a single card, give it a go first. The included PSUs aren't that bad, and it will most likely work. That PSU that you linked to is terrible. Avoid generic high wattage PSUs, and get something with a higher amperage on the +12V line. The Logisys 550W on that site is better for something that's still ultra-cheap, but i'd recommend something like the XClio 450BL if you need to upgrade.
