I recently received new ROM that I bought from bestbuy.com. The brand is Memory Master and it is 2 sticks of 2GB for a total of 4GB. I replace my current RAM of 2 sticks of 1 GB each then started up my computer. It eventually led to a screen of various colors with a small white box in the middle.
I'm wondering what caused this because my old RAM and this new one have largely the same specs. Here are links to them both:

Some other info: I currently have the MSI 975X Platinum motherboard
My computer is using Windows XP.
