New Rig

Trepidated

New Member
New here, but was hoping I can get some opinions / comments / suggestions on my new rig. As of now I have the following:

Case - Black Thermaltake Kandalf (With 250mm side-window fan)
Motherboard - eVGA 133-K8-NF41 NVIDIA SLi ATX Motherboard
CPU - AMD Athlon 3700+ (San Diego)
PSU - Hiper Modular Type-R 580W (+12V1 = 20A, +12V2 = 18A)
GPU - eVGA e-GeForce 7800GT 256MB
RAM - Ultra PC3200 DDR400mhz (1GB + 512MB)
HDD - Western Digital Caviar SE16 320GB
Sound Card - Integrated

Thoughts?

Eventually I would like to get a second 7800GT for SLi, and 2 sets of Dual Channel RAM. At that point i'd like to do some overclocking and upgrade to liquid cooling, which brings me to a question: If I wanted to run a liquid cooling line that would pass through a CPU Waterblock, and 2 VGA waterblocks with a radiator before and after the 2 VGA Blocks, would your standard 12v Pump get the job done? Would I need to upgrade to a more powerful pump? Or would I be better off running seperate systems for the CPU and one for the VGA? (I'll have the space in my Kandalf) Questions might "nooby" but I really have no knowledge on that sort of stuff. Thank you in advance, any responces would be great.

ive been doing alot of reasearch recently on cooling options..check out thermaltake there really good.they have asection will feed back to help u find what u need there the best in my ook for cooling...or go to frozencpu.com i would say that u probably dont need more than that but check out thermaltake....peace

btw.....im getting the thermal take saprano with window....i wanted to get the kandalf...but i dont/my parents wont lend me that kind of cash..sigh.....

I would go with the 7900GT, since its not much more money. And i would also get 2x 1GB, instead of 1GB and 512MB, that way you can have dual channel.

I was going too actually, but I found the Video Card and MoBo bundled for $325 and couldn't resist. I'm running on a budget, somewhat, so I wanted to save what I can without giving up too much on performance.
