Ahh, missed that.

The amount of extras XP Pro can do against XP Home, is Huge...

Definitly Worth paying that bit extra and getting xp Pro

Agreed! the firewalls... ect... even a better popup blocker ect ect... It is worth the cash.. I got it last year for $80 something bucks.. no kidding... not ebay either...but the site went down =(

Good system but you should of got 2 sticks of RAM instead of 1 so you could run it in Dual channel but thats it Everything else looks Kickass :)

Now vista is out, there SHOULD be a price drop, thats thinking Microsoft isn getting Greedy... Which i highly think isnt gunna happen

With every operating system released, theres going to ALWAYS be people putting it down...

Its just the way it goes.

You have to experiance it for yourself before you believe other people, find a friend thats using it, give it a chance, you will be suprised.

Ive used vista its pretty but I dont like it much...But as far as xp Pro, I might get it I just installed home because I had a copy from an old old pc....
And the ram was onsale for 83$ so I couldn't pass it up.

Ive heard so many bad things from vista.. im scared to get it. and its amazing how theyre already creating SP1

There arent going to be any service packs for Vista, they are releasing all their updates via Windows Update, that way you dont have to wait months to get a patch to fix something.

Vista is great, but theres no real need for it yet.

In my Opion people are going to hard on Vista when i get my New PC in July i am getting vista and looking forward to getting it. I know very few people who have it and What i have heard it runs steam games find so i can play CS:S all day long without a problem :) Plus with 2 gb of PC6400 I wont notice a performance differnce anyways :)

You can play alot of games on Vista, all Steam games run fine, as well as probably 95% of the newer games do.

The performance hit in games from XP to Vista isnt really that great, but more so if you have 1GB or less of RAM.
