New sandybridge build wrong temps

I have just put together a new sandybridge system using an asus p8z68 - v lx motherboard, the machine is up and running seems fine, the problems is when i use speccy or hwinfo they both report crazy motherboard temps, however when i go into the bios all the temps are normal.

do you think it is just some problem with these programs not reading the correct temps or could there perhaps be a faulty sensor ?

thanks bigfellla just wanted to check thought it was strange cpu temps were normal but the board temp was through the roof, i have always found speccy accurate and reliable maybe it just doesn`t like that board. thanks.
