Hi,
I have recently bought desktop with the following components:
AMD ATHLON X4 640 4x3.0GHz BOX
Gigabyte GA-MA78LTM-US2H s.AM3
2x4GB GOODRAM DDRIII PC1333
Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 1GB DDR5 256bit
1000GB Serial ATAII Samsung
ModeCom Logic 600W Silent PFC
I have Win 7 installed.
I have problems with performance of this system. When playing Black Ops whatever settings i use it stutters horribly. When playing L4D2 1680x1050 FPS is usually arond 20 and it spikes down and up. Smetimes at the very beginning fps reaches 120 and goes down to 20 in around 20 sec.
I launched CPUZ and first thing that hit me was that core speed was set to 800 (200MHz bus and 4 X multiplier) I was adviced to run SuperIP and probe at 32MB to see wheter this will go up but it didnt, I tried to set multiplier in bios manually to 15 but nothing has changed. The same with OCCT soft, core speed at 800. Moreover, i ran HD Tune and was told that my Command Timeout should be at 0 if a comp works ok but mine was at 100. Generally i was told this power supply is not good. I wander if you have any ideas?
