i though they were a virus
i did a little scan
it was not
i wanted to know about them i clicked on properties and i found a new tab called hashes !
anyway since this time
everytime i open the properties of anyfile on my PC
this tab shows
now it shows a copyright and a site which i deleted because i dont know if it's ok to post it
but when i opened this site i found this information
HashTab Shell Extension
This is a Windows shell extension that adds a tab to the file properties page. The new tab is called "File Hashes" and it displays the MD5, SHA1 hashes of the file's contents as well as the CRC-32. It also has a field where you can paste in the text of a hash for comparison. This is useful for when download sites display hashes of a file and you want to check the hash after you download.
like this
now does anyone know about this shell or it's a fake itself ?
the virus scan and adaware scan shows that i'm clean
any ideas ?
