Hi, i just got my 5200+ stable @ 3.0ghz on stock voltages, so im pretty happy about that :), but i have stock everything in my computer, I don't really want to put a new fan in, becuase i have no need/can't raise the voltage on it, so that won;t be needed.
But i ran orthos, and my temps were getting up to 62c, which is pretty damn close to the limits for this cpu, so i was wandering if i could just change the thermal paste on it would that help? I would only do it if it would decrease my temps at least 2c lower than what it is now...
But would it possibly help to get my cpu down to 58c or 56c?that would be GREAT! Any suggestions on which ones i should get?

And is there like a guide that can show me how to put it on?, how much?, take off original paste etc.?

arctic silver 5

arctic silver 5 the best, pick it up at Radio Shack for $9.49. Lowered my temps by 10°. I bought it today very impressed.

people go overboard with tht stuff apply a thin layer on ur cpu covering the complete cpu for best results thin layer is best.
