I just got a new Thermaltake PSU and I plugged it in to see if it works and I am not getting any power. Am I missing something?

If you are in the US, make sure that the red slider on the back is set to 115 and not 220... That could do it!

Do you have it plugged into the motherbaord, or a tester? I believe that PSU won't power on unless it gets the signal from the mobo the the power button was pushed...

i got a new psu and i plugged everything in and it was all setup. Then i switched the psu on and the fans ran for about 2 seconds and shut down. I got really scared and after no more than an hour i realized i had to turn my computer on for the psu 2 run, maybe thats the problem.(i doubt it)
