New to building pc's is this a good case?

Well I've just been getting pre-built ones now I want to try to make my own, I was thinking of getting this case:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1215768&Sku=ULT31824
I wouldn't be buying it there though, I found another place only $75 with shipping. Would this be a good beginner case to start out? My computer now has a 120mm and 80 mm that I can take out and put in that one. I think its nice because its big and a removable motherboard tray sounds handy.

Most will prefer a steel case over aluminum by a long shot while that is a gaming case with front and rear 120mm openings once you supply the fans. One thing besides the material used is seeing good air flow when you are not planning liquid cooling setups. Before deciding on that case alone have a look at several others and note the cooling each offers as well as style and type. http://www.xoxide.com/mid-tower-cases.html

You will easily see that prices vary between makes and styles while that site generally sees about the largest selection to look over. Other vendors like newegg may see lower prices on some. The best case used here to date for seeing the lowest board temps went onsale over the summer months on the steel Antec 900 seen at http://www.techonweb.com/products/productdetail.aspx?id=D03493&src=NT

Here I run a 700w OCZ supply in it with 3 planning on 4 or 5 hard drives and two optical drives. It's been the quiest while others will jump to disagree just for showing a different case to begin with.

FWIW, my wife has the same model only without the clear side panel. it does a decent enough job for her (sitting under her desk - she never even looks at it) but I would not use one for one of my setups. The front panel is flimsy and I think you could do much better for the money.

I stay clear of cases with doors. To me they are generally a pita.
Got to NewEgg and check out the CoolerMasters.

The last case had the annoyance of doors which can make it quite awkward if you burn a lot of dvds or cd-rs for video and data projects especially when the drive bays slams into one that swings back on occasion. Others like doors for keeping dust off of the front of the 5.25" drive bays.

The full single models are better over those with split twins like the AeroCool model I ended with just prior to seeing the Antec 900 come out. The annoyance of twin doors clashed with the much needed iincrease in air flow over the case before that.

The vendor listed above however has a great variety of cases to look over. You simply have to price shop after once you have found the one you prefer if discovered there. At times newegg can be a bit higher on items like cases while others like FRYs have sales on models like the 900 for the 4th of July.
