New to computer building. Budget gaming build?

Power supply is junk, motherboard could be better. You'd be better off geabbing a 955 if you want a Phenom II BE. The case is alright for the price, though. (not the best...NZXT Gamma/Beta EVO is about as good as it gets for $40)

You still lack RAM and your drives, unless you're re-using something.

What does that $400 have to include? If it's just the tower, this may be feasible...if you need Windows, not so much.

Thanks for the replies and I will change my build to match the advice. What makes the 955 > the 965? Anyway, here is my build right now

Am I missing anything? For the video card i need something that is good enough for gaming but cheap enough for my budget. I think I will have to increase my budget to 500 btw.

What makes the 955 > the 965? Why is the power source in that bundle junk?
They are essentially the same processor. You can add .2mhz to the 955 and have a 965, basically. So the 965 isn't worth the extra $.
Because that ps model is made of inferior parts. Because a ps says 500w doesn't mean it can deliver 500w.
