Hey guys. Im new here and ready to become an active member. I just recently built my first computer from scratch. I have done other builds and upgrades, but never something from scratch. Here's a few pics.

i7-870: 2.93GHz over-clocked to 3.4GHz
4GB Triple channel Patriot 1333MHz
3TB of drive space
Radeon XFX 5850 1GB Black edition (Using eyefinity)
680watt power supply
NZXT phantom case

Not the best build in the world, but it is my first. It runs every game possible,
on enthusiest settings or ultra high. Im pretty proud of this guy. Performs amazing.

I hope I can be of assistance to everyone here.

Looks like a beastly rig...I wish I had the resources to do something like that.
 
Basically was a budget build with my old case, but finally getting to the point where I can upgrade to better components. :) Thanks so much for making me feel welcome.

Ah, gotcha...I'd say you're doing a pretty good job :)

We're always happy to see new members that know their stuff, haha. Most people come through asking a couple of questions about how to install firefox or something and then leave after a week. :/

You on any other forums? A lot of of us are...might know you from somewhere.

What was your budget? Seems like you put quite a bit of cash into this rig.
 
wow love the screen setup... and the choice of parts!

Can you post a pic of the tower itself as a close up... i'm intrigued!
