New to Servers

Hi can any give me some advice i have 20 pcs. Do I only need 1 server, can anyone recommend one to me.

Also I have 2 printers which are network enabled and i link up these 20 pcs and share them with the 2 printers or do i need a printer server????

I need this infor for a report for uni and I aint got a clue - as you might have guessed.

provide some more info. With 20 desktops i bet managing logins for each computer can be time consuming. What apps are they running? are you wanting to host any apps on the server?(exchange, MIS, accounting software..etc).

also its always a good idea to install the printers on the server for easy management. What type of printing is done on these printers? high volume?
 
The 20 desktops will be running microsoft Vista and Microsoft Office 2007. The printers wont be print a lot of volume so can I just install the printers on the server and all the desktops be able to be printed from.

I only really need to recommend a server but as you can see i dont know much about them.
