New to the forum...Looking for help with a gaming computer

Hello all,

I am relatively new to building computers as well as this forum, and was wondering if these two build options would be able to run games like World of Warcraft, Skyrim and Battlefield 3 on ultra settings. If not please tell me what part you would change and why. Thank you very much and I look forward to meeting all of you in the future

those don't seem to include the operating system, which costs 100 for win7. otherwise the second looks a bit better, 12gb's of ram is a waste.

I didn't include some of the more obvious things like os, keyboard, or monitor, nevertheless, will both builds be able to run those games on ultra settings?

i would go for a gtx 570, that would be the only real performance increase, and if you can afford it the 2.5gb version would prob be smart, games are starting to use more vram than the normal one has, but the 1.28 gb's it has will still be plenty for any game for a while, but the 2.5 will do a little better.

but if you can i would spend a little more on the mobo. otherwise looks good.

the second. and i'm fairly sure there are some better priced parts on newegg than what they had picked, from just as good and better brands.
