new video card install help

the video card that is built into my motherboard quit working. i got a new card and now im stuck becouse i think i have to install the drivers to make the card work. i cant do that until i can see my monitor any thoughts this is very frustrating.
 
When I got my new card(Broke the VGA port off the intergrated GPU) I just plugged it in and yes it worked but I couldn't do nothing untill I installed the drivers(Watch videos, play games, ect. I got so scared at first then I remembered :) )
Once I had the Drivers installed everything worked great
 
Yes that's a very important step that you can't miss lol just make sure it's plugged into the new GPU not the old slot you're used to
