new video card needs mpeg2?

I recently put together a computer .I can not play a dvd . error message C00D1163 ."There is a problem with digieal copy prot between the dvd drive and video card. Try installing an upgraded driver for the video card. I have an asus pb5 mobo ,a liteon 20x dvd drive. GeForce 7600gt video card.I'm hoping there is not a compatability problem bettween the mobo and video card. When doing the update searches I get to the 'purchace the mpeg2 decoder screens.different prices if bought for mindow media player or nero showtime.is the decoder what I need? thanks
