is there a better card i can get for under 110 before mail in rebate?

i just wanna make sure im getting the best one before i hit the purchase button

Your best bet would be the $120 7900gs ($99 after MIR). It's ten bucks over your limit, but the performance gap is worth it.

8600GT's arent bad cards, i can't see a 7900GS outperforming it, maybe a 7900GT though.

Foxconn's a good brand, been around for awhile. Also the 8600gt, stock, is comparable to a 7600gt. The 7900gs is better thus.

The 7900GS Foxconn is the best deal and will out perform the 8600GT unless you just want a directX 10 card

A 7900GS or if you can find one that cheap a X1950 Pro

for that amount try the 1950 series, beats the 8600s in most benchmarks
