New video card

currently, as you can see from my siggie, my curent card sucks. its a radeon x600 256mb hypermemory (EVERYTHING lags....crysis lags/glitches all teh time on lowest settings, windowed, and 800x600 resolution /cry). so, im saving up my money to get a new video card. so here's my question: will this card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150267) work with my computer? if you guys cant tell from where you are, how do i figure it out?

as long as you have a pci express slot should do it...

That's tad expensive for an old card, you can get Radeon 4850s for cheaper and they way outperform any 8800s. I'd say get the 4850... of course, as above, make sure you have a PCI-E slot.

what does a PCI-E slot look like, so i can see if i have one?

also, i googled a radeon x600, and its says it is a PCI express card, is that the same as PCI-E?

Yeah, you have a pci-e slot so your good to go. definitely go with the 4850 if you can

yea dude, i just oredered one. it'll run crysis on high. of course i ordered a quad core so my computer will probably handle the game a bit easier but the HD 4850 is a good card.
