New Video Card?

hey everyone..
Right now here is my setup

2.4ghz core 2 duo
3 gigs of ram
asus p5nsli mobo
sli 7900 gs

I want to build an i7 pc but I dont have the coin... so im thinking... upgrading to a 9800 gpu... would it make a huge difference or would my motherboard hold it back? or should I go ati... since I loved my old x800 much more than the 7900s

Depending on your budget, but yes many cards will show a large improvement. Going from a 7 series to a GTX 200 series, you're most likely going to see a performance increase skipping over 2 series lol.
 
Yeah you could maybe go with a 1gb GTS 250 as im getting one in the coming months and they are pretty good value. Its basically a 9800GTX+ with higher memory speed and 1gb of memory
